Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for childhood cancer. Founded in 1970, this 501(C)(3) non-profit charity raises money for research, treatment, state of the art equipment/instruments and parent/patient care for world renowned doctors at the hospitals PCF supports. PCF receives no funding from the federal government or pharmaceutical companies.
Pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of non-accidental death in children. While our need for funding for critical treatment and research has not changed, the times certainly have. With the coming of the new year, Pediatric Cancer Foundation is proud to announce that our fundraising efforts will take a considerably more “green” approach, by limiting our costs of paper, printing and mailing.
Yet while times have changed, the generosity of you, our supporters, has not. And so to acknowledge your ongoing commitment to the children, while at the same time maximizing the funding power of your donations, we are proud to introduce our “Annual Journal/Annual Campaign goes green”. No amount is too small; the vast percentage of every dollar PCF raises goes directly to research and treatment programs.
No child should have to suffer the horror, pain and despair of pediatric cancer. PCF is committed to supporting efforts on the cutting edge of childhood cancer treatment led by renowned experts in the New York area. These hospitals include:
- NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital
- Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
- Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at NYU Langone Medical Center
- Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York
- Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center
Take a moment to read the critical programs PCF has committed to funding. Choose your level of commitment and return this form with your donation. Your donation is fully tax deductible to the limit of the law.
Your generosity is appreciated by the members of the Foundation and more importantly by the children and families suffering with this dreadful disease.
