March 6, SERVE – HARRISON HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYS FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER!
Harrison High School students spiked the ball in a co-ed volleyball tournament that raised money for Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The courts were packed with teams. While lines formed in the hallway to purchase goods from a blue bake sale in honor of Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s blue emblem color.
The Harrison High School Varsity Club organized this event (guided by Advisor/Teacher Siobhan Saccio). Competition and camaraderie were strong as students dedicated an afternoon on behalf of sick children. The students happily served up their time in order to make a difference in the lives of sick children. They raised over $600.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation Chairman of the Board, Stefanie Mittman, is proud to be part of the Harrison High School Community. She remarks:
“Thank you to all the students, parents, staff and volunteers for making this event a huge success. I am honored to be part of a school community that embraces community service and Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Parents of the students involved with this event should be so proud of their children for helping to save children’s lives.”
