This event is a kickoff to Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s and Westchester County Parks 10th Annual Family Fun Day Bikeathon, Sunday, May 16, 2010. Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a non-profit charity on a mission to find a cure for childhood cancer. The funds raised from all of our events go toward research, treatment, state of the art equipment and instruments and parent/patient care. Pediatric Cancer Foundation supports world renowned doctors at five leading tri-state hospitals including: Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian; Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center; The Hassenfeld Children’s Center at NYU Medical Center; Steven and Alexandra Cohen Medical Center of New York and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.
Pediatric Cancer Foundation receives neither federal government nor pharmaceutical drug funding and is dependent on generous supporters to reach the goals of the doctors and hospitals they support.
