Couture for a Cure: Westchester Ladies who Lunched and Shopped to Benefit Children with Cancer

Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF) celebrated its 43rd year at their Opening Fall Luncheon on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Trump National Golf Club, Briarcliff Manor, NY.

    Highlights of our Luncheon included:

    • Key note speaker, Daniel Rosen, spoke about his battle with cancer and the enormous support he received from his family and friends. He honored his mom, Cheryl Rosen, PCF President, by saying that she dropped everything in her life to be by his side during his ordeal. Since his recovery, she has found her calling in life; helping other families battling this disease.
    • Neiman Marcus, Westchester, featured their Fall 2013 Fashions.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation Luncheon Chairs, Lucy Amicucci, Bonnie Boilen, Pam Goldstein, Amy Hirschhorn, , Denise Warshauer, and Debra Zeplin remarked “Thank you, Daniel, for your inspirational speech which brought a well-deserved standing ovation. We also thank Neiman Marcus, Westchester, for their heartfelt community involvement and commitment to helping us in our mission to…hold the hand of a child.”

    Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to eradicating childhood cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research and early phase clinical trials conducted by world renowned doctors at the hospitals we support. This critical early phase funding is a stepping stone to later stage, larger institutional funding and is instrumental in providing novel treatments and potential cures.
