About the Bands
Route 9 is a Westchester County-based cover band that performs rock and roll from the 60’s through today including some 80’s new wave classics. The 5 members are Craig Vogel (drums), Steve Hughes (guitar), Vin Ucci (bass), Ken Gogarty (keyboards) and Keith Guerzon (vocals). Route 9 – Ride the Highway of Rock!
The New Irrelevants plays a mix of 80’s flavored funk and original rock songs with an ironic, satirical viewpoint. The band features Steve Poux, lead vocals and 80’s archivist, Ted Sabety on guitar and the knobs, Ivano Leoncavallo on bass and iPhone, Neil Benson on drums and band diplomacy, and Charlie Sanders on sax and moral compass. The band plays regularly around Westchester and in New York City. The New Irrelevants have just released a CD and have downloads available on iTunes.
