Citibabes Scarsdale's CitiScavanger Hunt- a summer-themed treasure hunt!
Saturday, May 22nd - 10:00am to 1:00pm

Citibabes Scarsdale, the community’s family membership club, organized its first ever Summer CitiScavenger Hunt in partnership with Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The event was for the entire family and happened on Saturday May 22, 10am-1pm. The hunt took place within walking distance of Citibabes Scarsdale, located right in the heart of Scarsdale’s village. Participants started at the club where they received clues and a goody bag to collect treasures along the way from various ‘scavenger’ stops including Lulu’s Bakery, Space NK, Learning Express, SoulCycle, Sedutto Ice Cream and Repertoire Dance Shop.

The scavenger hunt ended at the club with a CitiSummer Fair- a lively party filled with fun activities, arts & crafts, live music from Tim & the Space Cadets, an ice cream sundae bar, raffles for amazing prizes from Soul Cycle, Learning Express, Space NK, Repertoire, a stroller from Britax, AND a one year membership to Citibabes.

Members and non-members were invited to come and partake in the day, and join in the fun - on the scavenger hunt or by kicking back at the club and just enjoying the ‘beginning of summer’ party.

Entry to the CitiScavenger hunt was free-of-charge with suggested donations per family of $10 at the door, which went to Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Citibabes Scarsdale is located at 7 Popham Road, 3rd floor, Scarsdale NY.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation is delighted to announce our new partnership with Citibabes. Pediatric cancer is the number one cause of non-accidental in children and every year more than 12,000 infants and children are diagnosed with cancer. Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for childhood cancer. Founded in 1970, this non-profit charity raises money for research, state of the art equipment/instruments and parent/patient care for the world renowned doctors at the hospitals that PCF supports.

In order to raise awareness and raise funds for this for this important issue, Pediatric Cancer Foundation has teamed up with Citibabes. Citibabes is a family membership club that offers parents and children from birth to 10 years of age a wide range of educational and recreational activities including cooking, art, dance, music and movement, sports and language.

From now until February 28, 2010, purchase an annual Citibabes membership for either the SoHo or Scarsdale location at a preferred rate and Citibabes will donate $100 of your membership to Pediatric Cancer Foundation. In addition, Citibabes is offering a complimentary one (1) day trial pass so that you can experience all that Citibabes has to offer – from their 1,500 sq foot indoor playground to adult gym and family events – before joining their community.
